There are a number of great websites that savvy internet marketers use, which are free to use, and which Google just adores. Some of the better known of these are Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger, and Weebly. All of these sites are completely free to use. All also rank very well in search results, because Google counts the backlinks, etc. coming to the whole site as part of your sites SEO juice.

Internet marketers use these sites to create backlinks to their own sites. Also, to gather traffic, which is then funneled to their money site. You dont have to be this fancy, however. You can use any of these sites or a combination of them to kick start your internet marketing empire, all for FREE!

How to Use Free Sites to Start an Internet Marketing Business

One idea would be to just create a ton of these sites and load them up with Google AdSense. Google AdSense is the arm of Google that makes those little ads you see on blogs and other types of sites. Theyre basically pay-per-click advertisements that people buy to funnel traffic to their site. You can make money off of Google AdSense ads, though.

If you have a blog, for instance, thats running AdSense ads, and lets say someone clicks one of those ads, the advertiser pays a certain amount to Google. Now, heres where it gets interesting. Google shares some of that revenue with the person or business who owned the site where the ad was clicked on.

All you would need to do to make this happen would be to start cranking out little blogs, lenses (Squidoo pages), or hubs (Hubpages pages) by writing about some niche that a lot of people are searching on. As you publish the sites, you can use a social bookmarking service like SocialMarker to bookmark them and start getting them ranked in Google, and also getting traffic to them.

With all of that traffic, someones bound to click on your AdSense ads, and voila! You start making money. Once you get the hang of this, you can branch out into other types of offers. CPA offers (cost per action), and hot selling Clickbank products would be a logical next step.

Internet marketing is not rocket science, it takes patience, persistence and a willingness to fail and move on having learned from the failures.
